Eddington School-
- Snacks for Troops in support of Army National Guard 3rd Battalion -142nd Aviation. Students are collecting non-perishable snacks to send to troops overseas.
- Colors of Maine- students will be making items to send to the troops to remind them of home and the changing seasons of Maine.
Holden School-
- Grade 2: Food drive to support CHEFS food pantry.
- Grade 3: Outdoor yard work- students will assist the garden club in preparing the gardens for winter, and will help clean and maintain the Holden Nature Trail.
- Grade 4: Project Linus- students are working on squares to make quilts that can be given to families by the Police or Fire Departments in times of need.
Holbrook Middle School-
- Students will be visiting a variety of sites throughout the area to provide service and support including:
Woodland Senior Center
Maine Veterans’ Home
Dorothy Day Soup Kitchen
The Salvation Army
Ronald McDonald House
Horizon’s in Ellsworth
Sarah’s House
- Operation Gratitude- Students will be making paracord lanyards to support veterans and first responders. https://www.operationgratitude.com/about/
- Book Buddies- students will travel to Eddington school to read with younger students.
- Feeding our Furry Friends- students will be making homemade dog treats for animals in shelters.
