Budget & Finance

The Budget & Finance Committee supervises all district accounting and approves expenditures in accordance with legal requirements. The Committee Chair coordinates with other Standing Committees on matters involving finance, and performs such duties as the Board may assign. The Committee works with the Superintendent, Business Manager, Facilities and Transportation Director, and other staff throughout the course of a fiscal year in agreed upon matters, and in the preliminary stages of budget preparation each year by reviewing balances, estimated revenues, and requests for appropriations in each line item of the expenditure budget.
